Hong Kong, China, April 1, 2021 /Xinwengao.com/ - The spotted lanternfly has come to the United States, and that’s bad news. This invasive insect native to China, Bangladesh and Vietnam can damage trees, crops and wood decks, threaten the economy, and be an all-around nuisance.

Sightings

The spotted lanternfly was first seen in the U.S. in Pennsylvania in September 2014. Since then, it’s appeared in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia and West Virginia. Scientists believe that it came to America on goods that were imported from Asia.

Pennsylvania’s Quarantine

One of several states to have a quarantine on the SLF (spotted lanternfly) is Pennsylvania. At least 26 of its counties are under that directive. The state requires agricultural and non-agricultural businesses that transport products that can be infested by the insect to have a permit.

Among the items under stricter state control are construction, landscaping and remodeling materials; logs, stumps and tree parts; grapevines; nursery stock; crates, pallets and packaging materials; RVs and mobile homes; tractors and mowers; grills, deck boards; and vehicles not stored indoors. In addition to a watchful eye over items, Pennsylvania does not allow the movement of the SLF in any of its life stages: egg mass, nymph or adult.

Plant Species the Spotted Lanternfly Damages

Although the spotted lanternfly threatens many plant products, particularly apples, grapes, hops, walnuts and hardwood trees, it’s been seen on at least 103 kinds of plants and trees. Add to the list rose, plum, river birch, willow, sumac, pine, silver maple, red maple and tree-of-heaven, an invasive plant.

How the SLF Harms Trees and Plants

The SLF damages in several ways. By sucking the sap from branches and stems, it weakens the host. In feeding, it leaves behind honeydew, which is a sticky substance that invites other insects. Honeydew also promotes the growth of sooty mold on plants and trees.

Identification of the Pest

Adult spotted lanternflies (July to December) are about 1-inch long and 1/2-inch wide. An early nymph (widely seen from late April to July) is about 1/8-inch long, and it is black with white spots. A late nymph (prominent from July to September) is about 1/2-inch long, and it is black and red with white spots.

With wings wide open in its adult stage, the insect’s forewings are gray with black spots, and its hind wings are gray with black spots. When someone or something disturbs it, the SLF shows its beautiful bright red underwings.

When wings are closed, the insect is mostly gray with black spots. Newly laid egg masses look as if they are covered with a white substance. On more mature egg masses, the substance may turn gray-brown. Very mature egg masses appear as rows of 30 to 50 seed-like structures in vertical columns.

Objects On Which the SLF Is Found

The spotted lanternfly can’t fly far, but it infests by landing on objects. That’s why residents are urged to examine their vehicles and keep car and truck windows closed when parked. It’s also suggested that people inspect trees, rocks, cement blocks, decks, and other hard surfaces for egg masses. Do the same for landscaping materials, lawnmowers and outdoor equipment that’s being moved from one place to another.

Controlling Egg Masses

Managing the pest includes scraping and destroying its eggs and killing the more mature insects. When residents find egg masses that have been laid on trees, rocks and blocks of cement in the months from September to June, they should scrape them off. Pour hand sanitizer or rubbing alcohol into a freezer bag and scrape the pest into the bag with a plastic card or a putty knife. Dispose of the sealed bag. Residents can also smash egg masses.

Managing the Dissemination of Adult Lanternflies

Also look underneath cars and in wheel wells. Adult insects are ever-present in the months from July through late December. In searching for them examine trees and plants, especially at dusk and at night when the insects are more likely to be on trunks and stems. As with egg masses, one method of removing mature SLFs is by smashing them.

Other methods of control include removing plants and trees that the SLF feeds on, using tree traps to catch newly hatched nymphs and treating trees and plants with EPA-approved insecticides. On its website, the Penn State Extension evaluates some insecticides for both their effectiveness and toxicity to birds, fish and bees.

The spotted lanternfly poses threats to crops, agricultural jobs and commercial and residential trees and plants. It can also disrupt the comfortable lifestyles of residents. Vigilance and moving to prevent the spread of this invasive insect are necessary immediately.

Hong Kong, China, March 30, 2021 /Xinwengao.com/ - The United States is the single most popular destination for cross-border residential real estate buyers from across Asia, according to the new Top 10 Asian Buyer Picks report from Asian real estate technology group Juwai IQI.

Australia, Thailand, Canada and Malaysia make up the rest of the top five markets. Japan is sixth most popular, followed by Singapore, the UK, New Zealand and France.

Of the ten most popular Asian-buyer markets, six are in the Asia Pacific. The US, Canada, the UK and France are the only top-ten nations not in the Asia Pacific.

Juwai IQI’s report identifies four drivers of Asian cross-border buying demand.

Interest rates have dropped to historic lows and monetary stimulus has helped drive prices upward in many markets. Buyers worry as a result that they will miss out on future price gains. They are eager to find opportunities to benefit from price growth.

Because of the pandemic, many Asian buyers have reevaluated their cross-border real estate priorities. This is similar to changes that have occurred within local markets.

Some Asian cross-border buyers are also driven by factors in their home markets that make investing there less appealing. In China, government real estate restrictions cause some buyers to look overseas. Other countries face insufficient inventory or weak confidence. There is a large number of buyers who postponed acquisitions during the pandemic and are eager to make up for lost time.

“In 2020, the pandemic scrambled existing patterns of investment, migration and overseas education,” said Juwai IQI Co-Founder and Group Executive Chairman Georg Chmiel.

“All of these factors have a direct bearing on Asian cross-border real estate investment.”

Hong Kong, China, March 2, 2021 /Xinwengao.com/ - Six-fold more mainland Chinese investment flows into Australian residential real estate than into housing in the United States, when adjusted for GDP, according to new research from Juwai IQI.

This startling statistic comes from Juwai IQI’s new Q1 2021 residential real estate report, “Asian Investment in Australia.” The unprecedented report is sponsored by Kay & Burton, the leader in Melbourne’s premium real estate market.

China is not the only major Asian investor in Australia, however. Singapore, Malaysia, and Japan also lead in inbound investment. Thailand and Vietnam are prominent growth countries.

COVID-19 has had a significant negative impact, knocking Chinese real estate buyer enquiries back by some 19.2% in 2020.

Juwai IQI Co-Founder and Group Executive Chairman Georg Chmiel said:

“What you can obtain by reading the ‘Asian Investment in Australia’ report is a clear overview of one of the world’s most significant channels of residential property investment. The report includes data on total investment by source country, investor preferences, the impact of COVID-19 and the post-pandemic outlook.”

“Asian Investment in Australia” also includes an exclusive interview with Jamie Mi, Partner & Head of International Division at Kay & Burton, the report’s sponsor. Mi explains why she expects inbound investment to rebound from the second half of 2021 and Significant Investor Visas seems to have accelerated.

Kay & Burton’s Mi said:

“Thee Asian communities overseas are watching Australia very closely. There are many positive reasons they like Australia, including education, the stable political environment, and how we are handling COVID-19 thus far.

“Next year, there will be plenty of buyers coming in and plenty of offshore wealth invested in Australia. It will be Asian buyers, and also buyers from the U.S. and U.K. and expats.”

California, USA, January 20, 2021 /Xinwengao.com/ - Rayliant launched the world’s first active China equities ETF on the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”) on December 31, 2020. The Rayliant Quantamental China Equity ETF (Ticker: RAYC) is targeted at U.S. investors seeking long-term capital appreciation in China. Unlike passive ETFs, which track an index, Rayliant’s active strategy is designed to capture long-term excess returns in the world’s second-largest economy.

“Rayliant’s China ETF signals the next generation of China ETF investing,” said Jason Hsu, PhD, Rayliant’s Founder and CIO. “Until now, U.S. investors have been limited to passive or thematic China ETFs. In a market where retail trading accounts for more than 80% of overall volume*, China is one of the few major markets where we believe active management can consistently deliver outsized returns. Our RAYC gives U.S. investors opportunities to outperform the mainland China equity market.”

RAYC employs a systematic approach that seeks to exploit mispricing in Chinese stocks. The strategy is localized to China, applying specialized data and models capturing features that make Chinese markets unique, including novel aspects of China’s accounting, regulations, market structure, state ownership, and investor behavior.

“As active management in the ETF industry continues its remarkable growth, the NYSE is excited to support Rayliant in its launch of the first China equity actively managed ETF,” said Douglas Yones, Head of Exchange Traded Products, NYSE. “With the RAYC ETF, Rayliant extends the benefits of active management to all investors, continuing to further democratize international investing for everyone.”

Australia's Foreign Investment Review Board ("FIRB") has just released some surprising data on foreign buyer transactions in 2018-19. Juwai IQI Executive Chairman Georg Chmiel here provides the Chinese reaction to the data. He also gives some key insights into the Australian spring real estate market and demand trends among Chinese and other Asian buyers.

Hong Kong, November 6, 2020 /Xinwengao.com/ - Highlights from the New FIRB Report:

80% of foreign buyer transactions were residential and valued under $1M each

86.3% were new dwellings and vacant land

VIC, NSW, QLD: these three states alone accounted for 94.6% of investment value and 92.2% of transactions.

Foreigners buy to hold. Foreign buyers purchased $7.5 billion of property in the 12 months but only sold property worth $990 million.

Juwai IQI Executive Chairman Georg Chmiel said:

“The FIRB data is fascinating and confirms some things that we already know. Victoria is the most popular state. When foreigners buy, they very seldom sell. Foreign buyers far prefer to buy new property.”

About Asian buyer trends and the Spring Market, Mr. Chmiel said:

“The spring market is suffering from fewer overseas buyers, both pure investors and those moving to Australia to live. Our data shows there are fewer Chinese, fewer Koreans, fewer Indians looking at Sydney real estate because travel is so difficult. That’s a big problem for the market in newly developed apartments. Developer Harry Triguboff was just calling on the government to permit more migration.

“Although foreign-buyer transactions are down this year due to the pandemic, there is also good news. Australia’s reputation has been buffed and shined to a new level of polish. The country is wisely managing the pandemic and is likely to have positive economic growth this year despite the crisis. Australia does compete for investment with the other primary English-speaking countries. We believe 2020 will be a pivot point, after which demand by foreign investors, students, and residents will climb in Australia at the expense of the U.S. and the U.K.

“The good news about Chinese real estate investment is that China’s economy is doing well, buyers have money and motivation, and Australia’s reputation and desirability have soared due to its impressive response to the pandemic.

“The bad news is that transactions have dropped precipitously due to travel bans and other practical difficulties. The real estate team at IQI WA has just sold eight homes –including two houses and six new apartments– to buyers from greater China. Transactions do happen. The foreign buyers making purchases now are actually in Australia or are willing to buy site-unseen. Live video and 3D tours make many sales possible that otherwise wouldn’t happen.

“So, Chinese buying will be back after the pandemic. That’s good news for the unprecedented surplus of new housing stock, especially inner-city apartments of the kind that appeal to buyers from Asia.

“Two big questions are what will happen with Victoria and Queensland. The two states have had opposite fates this year. Will Victoria lose its top ranking with international students, migrants, ex-pats, and buyers? I don’t yet know.

“It is plausible that Queensland will see an increase in international buyer market share due to its affordability, lower congestion, and good handling of the coronavirus. Again, it’s too soon to know.”

China Money Network has researched that the latest wave of deals in Chinese distressed debt space appear to have higher asset quality compared to previous non-performing loans entering the market. This could mean that legal complexity of these obligations is much greater this time around. So as the government’s determination to strengthen implementation of the Bankruptcy Law provides a more robust legal environment for investors operations in China, an expanded investment strategy for bankruptcies, NLP’s, debt-to-equity conversion and emergency funding all are expected to be deployed as this market continues to mature.

“This high-level event will gather relevant market investors and deal makers together for a practical ‘lessons learned’ panel discussion on investment opportunities on China’s special situations market,” said Naveet McMahon, managing partner of China Money Network. “Participants wanting to explore the challenges and avoid the pitfalls of these opportunities should join our event.”

Las Vegas, USA, July 28, 2017 /Xinwengao.com/ - REcoin is a new proprietary cryptocurrency designed for a broad range of financial transactions. It is backed by the most stable sector of the US economy, real estate. The 101REcoin Trust real estate portfolio is leveraged in USA, Canada, Japan, Great Britain, and Switzerland – countries with a proven track record of favorability to investors, where the current system of state and private insurance guarantees the utmost safety and security of any monetary transaction.

The REcoin ICO – the initial fundraising and token pre-sale stage – is scheduled for the period of August 7th 2017 till October 9th 2017, during which everyone is welcome to get acquainted with REcoin and invest. The pre-sale of tokens is not limited. However, the volume of tokens designated for sale at a discount is limited.

There are several economic and technical measures involved in support of REcoin’s attractiveness as a means of payment for real estate transactions, which are going to be managed, tracked and authenticated through blockchain technology. An international team of attorneys and programmers had been working tirelessly on creating solutions for REcoin holders to allow them to enter smart contracts in real estate rent (with the addition of sales contracts later), developing the supporting eco-system, creating partnerships with various Internet platforms.

Those measures shall inevitably lead to the exponential increase of the REcoin’s investment potential. The proceeds from the initial sale of tokens are invested in the highly regulated in virtually all jurisdictions real estate market reinforcing holder/investor confidence in REcoin. Also, 83% of the mining within the next fifty years of the issue is invested in real estate as well.

A purposeful work is carried out to develop the REcoin ecosystem: the search for, creation and integration of the Internet platforms that provide services in the real estate, retail and financial markets. Point-of-sale and other businesses of any specialization can also apply for inclusion in the affiliate program. A lucrative partner program is designed specifically for the purpose of expanding the range of operations and services in real estate, for which it is financially beneficial to conduct operations in REcoin.

By the time of launch, the REcoin ecosystem will consist of/be represented by the following Internet partner platforms:

— 101rebid – an online platform for conducting auctions for the sale/lease of real estate;
— 101cowork – Internet service for finding/offering real estate services;
— 101news – a news site dedicated to real estate;
— 101influencer – a communication platform for finding common ground between advertisers and opinion leaders

Introducing Hotel Soul’s brand new executive suites and exciting food and beverage promotions

Suzhou, China, January 20, 2017 /Xinwengao.com/ - Hotel Soul, Suzhou’s first designer boutique hotel, is delighted to announce that change is in the air. From the opening of a brand new set of executive suites, to the launch of a number of new food and beverage promotions at Bar Soul, Hotel Soul is set to introduce a number of exciting developments that will elevate guests’ stay to an extra level of luxury during their time in Suzhou.

After nine-months of careful planning and creative design work, Hotel Soul is proud to showcase a collection of four brand new executive suites for the discerning luxury traveller to choose from. In keeping with Hotel Soul’s philosophy of juxtaposing elements of modern and traditional China, these suites take their cue from the design concept of a traditional Suzhou mansion, albeit with a contemporary twist. Paying homage to historic Chinese architecture, the suites mirror the layout of the traditional classic ‘siheyuan’ by incorporating a separate living area, sleeping quarters and bathroom in the generously-sized 55 square metre space. In addition, bright jade green feature walls in the living room, and muted earthy toned themed bedrooms prove a subtle yet stylish way to bring a taste of the beautiful gardens of Suzhou straight to your suite, mimicking the effect of the ‘siheyuan’s’ typical courtyard space. To complete the space a few secret surprise design details feature amongst the suite’s corridors to ensure an opulent, garden-inspired living concept at every turn.

Modern elements of the equation feature in the overall environmentally-friendly design of the suites; flexible application of LED lights and large windows (with excellent views of the distinctive traditional rooftops which define the old city district’s skyline) work to enhance energy efficiency, giving the suites with abundant natural light. A further update which takes the design into 2017 is the array of modern luxuries the suites have to offer. An indulgent bathtub, complete with a stock of exclusive toiletries from British luxury brand Gilchrist & Soames, allows guests to enjoy an optimum wellness experience. Meanwhile, luxury hospitality services and amenities, such as complimentary 24-hour Wi-Fi connection, a Nespresso coffee machine, and complimentary use of the mini bar, are sure to make every guests’ stay at Hotel Soul truly extraordinary.

In celebration of the launch of these new executive suites, Hotel Soul has designed an exclusive Business Traveller Package* promotion starting from only RMB1,888. From now until 30 March 2017, not only will guests enjoy a one-night stay in an executive suite, but a selection of VIP privileges will also be available for their use. These privileges include personal hotel pickup service, late check-out, and a selection of complimentary offerings (including use of the Meeting Room, dining vouchers, one hour of free-flow at Bar Soul, and a classic French-themed Afternoon Tea Set at Brasserie 101) to make guests feel like they are fully at home at Hotel Soul.

Over at Bar Soul, Hotel Soul’s edgy resident watering hole, change comes in the form of two exciting new food and beverage promotions. Riding on the European-themed design of the bar, Bar Soul is excited to take its guests on a gastronomical tour of Spain with a traditional Tapas Delights Set** (RMB98). The set includes a selection of classic tapas dishes, including the Spanish tortilla, marinated olives, garlic shrimp, and prosciutto with cheddar cheese. With its wide spectrum of properties from the luxury to economy segment, the group aims to meet and cater to the various needs and preferences of its diverse clientele from business to leisure and millennial travellers.

Since the successful strategic alliance with Huazhu in January 2016, some 86 AccorHotels’ branded properties came under the Huazhu structure. This has created tremendous opportunities for the growth of the AccorHotels network in the domestic China market. At the same time the alliance also facilitated the development of Chinese outbound businesses across Asia-Pacific and globally. AccorHotels sees considerable potential growth of its loyalty members with the two entities which currently consists of 95 million members. The number of hotel openings will also be growing steadfastly with the annual target of 50 economy and mid-scale hotel brands for ibis, ibis Styles, Mercure and Novotel across mainland China under Huazhu alliance over the next three years.

In July 2016, AccorHotels announced the acquisition of three iconic brands Raffles, Fairmont, and Swissôtel under FRHI. This strategic deal positions AccorHotels as a luxury hotel leader in the hospitality industry. With a greater global reach, a more diverse portfolio, a powerful loyalty programme and a sizeable customer base in North America, AccorHotels also shows its expertise with the combined strengths of both companies in talent development and industry experience.

The acquisition of FRHI added 155 hotels and resorts to the global network of AccorHotels, including nine properties in Greater China. The portfolio under the luxury and upscale division now includes Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel Legend, SO Sofitel, Sofitel, onefinestay, MGallery by Sofitel, Pullman and Swissôtel.

AccorHotels in Greater China currently has 189 operating hotels across 13 brands in 72 key cities. “The strategic alliance between AccorHotels and Huazhu leverages the strengths of its global brands as the leading player in the competitive China market. Huazhu’s unparalleled local expertise when combine with our brands help create a hospitality powerhouse that delivers unprecedented value to both groups and to our guests,” said Michel Molliet, Chief Operating Officer of AccorHotels Greater China, “At the same time, the operational synergies with the acquisition of FRHI, AccorHotels is well-placed to accelerate the growth in the luxury brand segment which enables the group to offer travellers even more exciting hotel choices across various destinations.”

This year in Greater China, AccorHotels opened 15 hotels under the Fairmont, Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel and Mercure branding. Next year, the group continues to expand its network with the opening of another 15 hotels across Greater China which includes Fairmont Chengdu, Fairmont Wuhan, Sofitel Guiyang Hunter, Sofitel Foshan, Pullman Zhouzhuang Resorts & Spa, Pullman Baotou and Grand Mercure Zhengzhou Xintian Town.

The new ‘home-away-from-home' for longer stays is set to become a hub of activity in emerging C?u Gi?y district

Shanghai, China, October 21, 2016 /Xinwengao.com/ - Novotel, the international midscale brand known for its consistently high service standards, modular rooms, commitment to well-being, family offerings and stand-out meeting facilities, has introduced the Novotel Suites concept to Asia Pacific. Sharing the essence of the Novotel brand, Novotel Suites offer suite-type units that are spacious and functional, and can be adapted into a working or reception area. The rooms, which accommodate up to four people, come with a kitchenette and several amenities that cater to all types of guests and for all lengths of stays.

The debut property, Novotel Suites Hanoi, presents a new option to travellers in Vietnam’s capital who desire the services of a hotel with the amenities and privacy of an apartment, offering a choice of 87 spacious studios and 64 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments.

The apartments — which range in size from 48 to 104 square metres — feature the latest Novotel design, an abundance of natural light, a separate living room with IPTV, a fully equipped kitchenette, walk-in closets, and terraces in some units. Among the comforts that are not found in other serviced apartments is the Novotel Suites Live N Dream eco-friendly bedding experience with its two-sided Smart Pillow and Dual-Technology Mattress. This bedding experience is fitting, as waking up refreshed and at one’s best is important in C?u Gi?y, the new urban district where the hotel is located. This burgeoning area offers proximity to office and industrial complexes, convention and exhibition centres, residential neighbourhoods, and Noi Bai International Airport.

The culinary options at Novotel Suites Hanoi also set it apart from other serviced apartments. Food Exchange, the all-day-dining restaurant, features international buffet dining with live cooking stations. Guests can enjoy delectable tapas at Gourmet Bar, spectacular city views at the Rooftop Bar Terrace, and snacks and drinks at the Pool Bar. A fitness centre, heated outdoor pool, private library lounge and kids’ playground assure that Novotel Suites Hanoi offers all the comforts of home — and more.

“The Novotel Suites brand is designed as an attractive option for medium- and long-term stays, and is a perfect choice for business travellers and families on urban holidays,” says Patrick Basset, Chief Operating Officer of AccorHotels Upper Southeast and Northeast Asia. The brand was launched in 2010 and now has over 30 hotels in nine countries. Basset adds that the latest hotel, Novotel Suites Hanoi, “is the first Novotel Suites in Asia Pacific and the sixth Novotel in Vietnam, underscoring AccorHotels’ commitment to continued growth in one of the most dynamic hospitality markets in the region.” The group’s 23 hotels in the country will be followed by 10 more in the next two years. AccorHotels is not only the largest international hotel operator in Vietnam, but was the first, and has been in the country for nearly 30 years.

Mike Britt, the hotel’s General Manager, adds that “guests of Novotel Suites Hanoi can create their own special world with all the warmth of home. It will usher in a new concept here of home-away-from-home living for long-stay travellers who are in Hanoi on business as well as their families. And with modern pillar-less meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 200 guests, Novotel Suites Hanoi’s can host meetings and events in style”.

The hotel’s three meeting rooms offer natural sunlight and can be combined into one elegant ballroom, making it an ideal venue for small-to-medium-sized events. Additionally, the hotel is committed to an eco-friendly approach, offering an interactive white board for paper-less meetings and coffee breaks with delicious, locally grown products. Novotel Suites Hanoi is the first hotel in Vietnam to participate in the Joint Crediting Mechanism (“JCM”) programme to reduce carbon emissions throughout the property.

Novotel Suites Hanoi is located at 5 Duy Tan Street, C?u Gi?y district, Hanoi, a 25-minute drive from Noi Bai International Airport.

The only international hotel management company based in South Korea, Accor Ambassador is currently operating in six cities under the Pullman, Novotel, Mercure, ibis, ibis Styles and ibis budget brands, with an aggressive expansion plan that will see its current network growth from 19 to 27 hotels by the end of 2019.

ibis, AccorHotels’ main economy brand, offers guests contemporary comfort and high level service at an affordable price, with its revolutionary Sweet BedTM bedding, welcoming designer common areas and inviting food & beverage offerings. Established in 1974, ibis is the European leader in economy hotels and the fourth hotel chain in its category worldwide with more than 1,000 hotels and 134,000 rooms in 64 countries.

ibis Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun is located in the heart of Seoul nearby to Jung-Gu and Gwangjang markets. Jung-Gu market is famous for the pervasive aroma of dried seafood while Gwangjang is renowned for its silks, linens and intricate handmade souvenirs. The hotel is also located close to the Dooda Duty Free Shop which opened in May, convention and exhibition centres, shopping malls and universities. Euljiro 4-ga subway station is just at the doorstep of the hotel and a 10 minute walk to Dongdaemun Design Plaza with Myeongdong only two subway stops away. This project is developed and owned by a real estate fund managed by CAPSTONE Asset Management, in which RECAP fund is the major investor from Singapore.

Patrick Basset, Chief Operating Officer of AccorHotels, Upper Southeast and Northeast Asia, said, “The two openings reflect the successful partnership between AccorHotels and Ambassador Hotel Group. The ibis brand was first introduced to South Korea 10 years ago, the dual openings of ibis Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun and ibis Busan Haeundae will give corporate and leisure guests added hotel choices when they travel to the country. The brand continues to innovate constantly to offer its guests even more modernity, comfort and availability.”

The ibis Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun features 242 contemporary guest rooms furnished with the ibis sweet Bed, mini-refrigerator, rain shower and complimentary WIFI.

The hotel is also home to two food and beverage outlets, Oopen restaurant, which offers a variety of pastas, grills and Asian/fusion cuisine prepared in the open kitchen, while the hip and funky Grab & Go bar is the place to chill with a pre-dinner drink or a good cup of coffee in between meetings.

For meetings and events, the two state-of-the-art modular function rooms offer natural lighting and can accommodate up to 70 people.

Renowned for its mountains and beaches, hot springs and seafood, South Korea’s second-largest city is a rollicking port town offering a laid-back beach vibe. From casual tent bars and chic designer cafes to fish markets teeming with every species imaginable, Busan, the summer capital of South Korea, is just a two-and-a-half-hour train ride from Seoul.

The 237 room ibis Ambassador Busan Haeundae, owned by Dongnam Holdings, is a 6 minute walk to the beautiful Haeundae beach, located close to the subway station and Busan Exhibition and Convention Center. Featuring an F&B outlet that serves popular Mexican dishes, a bar, spa and gym, the hotel also offers two flexible meeting spaces that can accommodate up to 180 people in theater style and 120 guests for corporate events.

“With its new bright and cheerful design of the New Candy Concept, kids club and beach access, ibis Ambassador Busan Haeundae is hugely popular with families. The hotel is perfect for guest seeking to enjoy a relaxing weekend by the beach with friends while watching kids play with firecrackers.” said Woo Young Rho, General Manager of ibis Ambassador Busan Haeundae.
